After nearly one year of the deadly outbreak of the novel Coronavirus, dubbed as Covid-19, the union government paved way for a massive Coronavirus vaccination drive across the nation.
The vaccine drive was launched on Saturday by Prime Minister in all the States and Union Territories in India at the dedicated vaccination centers.
East-Central State Chhattisgarh welcomed the potential vaccine to cure the Coronavirus grandly and traditionally. Health department workers received the vehicle loaded with the vaccines.
The vaccine arrived in Chhattisgarh's Jashpur yesterday. The health workers walked up to the famous Jai Stambh Chowk and performed puja to the vaccines. Later, firecrackers were burst and flowers showered on the vaccine doses.
The vaccination drive was started in Chhattisgarh today. 51-year-old sanitation worker Tulsa Tandi at Raipur was given the first vaccination at the Dr. B R Ambedkar Memorial Hospital
Tulsa Tandi spoke to the media after taking the Coronavirus vaccine. She called the movement the proud moment as she worked for the people in the toughest time of the pandemic outbreak.
