The second wave of the novel Coronavirus is creating havoc across the country. Several states in the country are facing devastating situations with the massive surge in infections and deaths.

In the middle of the tough situations, a survey was conducted to find out what Indians think about the Coronavirus.

The survey, conducted by LocalCircles, a community social media platform has found out that 61 percent of India are “angry, upset, depressed or worried”.On the other hand, 45 percent of the respondents are of the opinion that the Union Government was not on the right track coming to deal with the Covid second wave.

The main intention behind conducting the survey is to figure out what Indians think about the government's performance in dead=ling with the second wave of Covid.

As many as 8,367 respondents took part in the survey. Out of the total respondents, 45 percent felt that the government was not on the right track, while 41 percent of respondents are of the opinion that the government was on the track.

Respondents from 324 districts in the country have participated in the survey. The respondents consist of 65 percent of men and 35 percent of women. Around 44 percent of respondents hail from tier 1 cities, while tier 2 and 3 cities have respondents of 29 percent and 27 percent respectively.
