As much as Rs 2 crore were seized from the employees of Jayabheri Group during the routine check-up near Hi-Tech City Railway Station in Hyderabad. Following which, A case was filed against Rajahmundry MP Murali Mohan 5 five others.

Employees Nimmaluri Srihari and Pandari had admitted that they were on their way to handover the money to Jayabheri Group chairman Murali Mohan in Rajahmundry. The money was given to them by two other employees Dharmaraj and Jaganmohan Rao. They opted for train travel but ended up getting caught by the police while they were moving suspiciously. The cash bags were supposed to be handed over to Yalamanchili Murali Krishna in Rajahmundry.

Cases were booked against Murali Mohan, Yalamanchili Murali Krishna, Nimmaluri Srihari, Pandari, Dharmaraj and Jaganmohan Rao under Sections 171B, 171C, 171E and 171F.

Cops suspect Rs 2 crore was meant for distributing to the voters of Rajahmundry. Murali Mohan's Daughter-in-Law is contesting from his parliament segment in the upcoming elections on TDP Ticket.
