Cyberabad Cops Unearth Drugs Racket, Pperating In The Disguise Of Generic Drugs

Based on the credible information received, the Cyberabad Police has unearthed a drug racket which is operating drugs sale in the disguise of Generic drug and arrested eight people.
Going into detail, Govinda Reddy, who hails from Vinukonda of Andhra Pradesh is a Bachelor of Science (BSc), graduate. He works at a Pharma Company.
By combining his theoretical knowledge and practical knowledge he attained with his studies and job, Govinda Reddy produced the Alprazolam drug, which is used to treat anxiety disorders and panic disorders.
Later. Govinda Reddy started selling the Alprazolam drug to the Toddy Tappers Co-op. Societies and alcohol lovers in the state to gain more money.
He then took permission from the Andhra Pradesh government in the disguise of manufacturing Generic drugs. In his facility, he started manufacturing Alprazolam drug by using chemicals and raw materials of drugs.
He manufactured the Alprazolam drug worth Rs 7 crore and stored it in Hyderabad. When he was trying to sell the drug, the Cyberabad Police caught him red-handed and arrested him along with seven others.
A police case has been registered in this regard and the investigation is underway to get more details.
