All-rounder Axar Patel, who plays for the Delhi Capitals(DC) in the Indian Premier League(IPL) had fully recovered from the Coronavirus and joined the team today. He was tested Covid positive earlier this month.
Taking to Twitter, the DC team announced that Axar Patel joined the team. "That smile tells a story. Welcome back to the field, @akshar2026. #YehHaiNayiDilli.#IPL2021," Delhi Capital tweeted today.
After testing positive for the novel Coronavirus in the second test earlier this, Axar Patel quarantined himself at a dedicated quarantine facility in the financial capital Mumbai.
The Delhi Capitals team is looking more strong with Axar Patel joining the squad. The team will lock horns with the Orange Army SunRisers Hyderabad on Sunday. Chennai will host the match.
