Taking the Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) board examinations and the practicals, the government of the national capital Delhi took a decision on reopening the schools.

The government gave its nod for the reopening of schools for students of classes 10 and 12 in the state. The schools will be reopened in the state from the 18th of January, 2021.

Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia announced the news of reopening the schools for students of classes 10 and 12 for the practical, project, counseling, etc on social media.

In the post made in Hindi, the Minister said, children, will not be forced to come to the schools and said children will be called to the schools with the consent of their parents.

"Children will not be forced to come... Permission is being given to open schools for practicals, projects, counselling etc. for classes 10 and 12 classes from January 18," Manish Sisodia's post in Hindi reads.

The circular issued by the Delhi government states that the Head of the respective schools should plan accordingly for the practicals and activities[pertaining to the pre-board.

The schools were also said to b redirected by the government to see that the teachers should clear the doubts and difficulties of the students ahead of the board exams.
