Telugu Heroine's Husband Backs BJP In Maharashtra

Remember Telugu heroine Navneet Kaur. After acting in several Telugu films, this glam girl settled down by marrying Amaravati's politician Ravi Rana. Ravi Rana,who is locally very influential, has formed Yuva Swabhiman Party. Navneet Kaur has won as an independent MP from the constituency, while her hubby dear has won as an MLA from Badnera assembly constituency. He has defeated Shiv Sena candidate by over 15000 votes. Now, he has decided to extend support to the BJP without any pre-conditions.
On Diwali day, Kaur, her husband and their baby met Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis and extended their support. Devendra Fadnavis, who has fallen short of the majority, wants to get as many independents and small parties on his side. At least 15 BJP rebels have won and they are now being wooed. Already, Meera Bhayandar MLA Geetha Jain, who was a rebel BJP candidate, and Rajendra Raut, another independent MLA, extended their support to Fadnavis.
The BJP now faces challenges from its friend-cum-foe Shiv Sena, which is demanding that Aditya Thackeray be made CM for two-and-a-half years. The BJP, which has won over 102 seats, feels that by giving in to Shiv Sena's demands, it will only weaken itself. It has so far not agreed to Shiv Sena’s demands.
