Due to economic recession, even the developed nations are struggling with no rise in income. The economic experts are advising that the impact is on India as well and we should be cautious. Amid this, the assets of public representatives in the government increased massively. Not one or two but around 71 Parliament MPs earned big amounts in the past five years. They might even enter the Forbes list if given a chance. All these details are from official data. The information that did not go into the official data might be even high. A popular firm made the details of the assets earned by the MPs public. Common people are left flabbergasted looking at the details.

Association for Democratic Reforms(ADR) made the details of the Parliament MPs public. With all data, the firm listed the assets the MPs earned between 2014 and 2019. It compared the details they mentioned in the affidavit filed in 2014 with that of 2019. Interestingly, their assets increased by 286 percent officially. As they are from the BJP which is in power at the Centre the data became the most debatable. Seeing this, Narendra Modi is said to have set an MP aside.

As per the information shared by ADR, Ramesh Chandappa Jigajinagi, an MP from Karnataka is in the top position. In the affidavit filed in 2009, he mentioned his assets as 1.18 crores. In 2014 his worth rose to 8.94 crores. Coming to 2019 the same assets increased to 50.41 crores. The MP who won the elections from the Bijapur Constituency raised many eyeballs as his assets increased in a short span. Another MP from the party is in the second spot. Bengaluru Central Lok Sabha member PC Mohan's assets stood at 5.37 crores in 2009 and the assets worth reached 75.55 crores by 2019.

Besides this, female MPs also showed that they are not less in income. The likes of Harsimrat Kaur Badal and Supriya Sule are on the list of highest-earning Mps. In total ADR mentioned 71 MPs in the list. With BJP coming to power in two consecutive terms a few added big worth to their name. The opposition parties started attacking the BJP knowing this. A demand to probe into how they added these assets has started.
