The President of the United States Donald Trump nominated Indian-American attorney, Saritha Komatireddy to a federal court in New York. She teaches law at Columbia Law School.

Donald Trump sent her nomination to the US Senate. Saritha Komatireddy was nominated as the judge to the US District Court of the Eastern District of New York.

Saritha Komatireddy is currently rendering her services as the Deputy Chief of General Crime in the United States Attorney's Office of the Eastern District of New York.

Earlier, she served as the Acting Deputy Chief and International Narcotics and Money Laundering from June 2018 to January 2019 and as a Computer Hacking and Intellectual Property Coordinator from 2016 to 2019.

After passing out from Harvard Law School, she rendered her services as a law clerk to Brett Kavanaugh, who was then the Judge of the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.

On the 12 of February, Donald Trump said that he decided to nominate Saritha Komatireddy as a District Judge for the United States District Court of the Eastern District of New York.
