Until now, Gorantla Madhav was starring at the threat of rejection of nomination for Anantapur Lok Sabha Seat by Election Commission citing technical issues. Although the CI took Voluntary Retirement two months ago, State Government is yet to approve it. The Ex-Cop willn't be able to contest 2019 Elections if he doesn't get the necessary clearance before the last date of nomination filing (March 25th).
Finally, Gorantla Madhav received a much needed relief. Tribunal found fault with delaying the approval of Voluntarily Retirement with hidden intentions. An ordered was passed asking the TDP Government to offer clearance for the CI who choose to quit service.
With the latest development, All hurdles have been cleared for the nomination process of Gorantla Madhav. Now, JC Pavan Kumar will have to fight against Gorantla Madhav in the battle field.
YSR Congress offered 7 out of 25 MP Tickets for BCs and Gorantla Madhav is one of them. This comes as a slap on the faces of haters who say YCP is only a Reddys Party.
