Election Result Fever: Congress Busy Protecting MLAs From BJP?

The stage is all set for the election results of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh. The vote counting started earlier today and the early trend says that Bharatiya Janata Party will sweep Gujarat yet again marking its seventh consecutive win. It is also predicted that BJP would win the elections with more seats than in previous polls.
With BJP inching towards a clear majority in Gujarat, its strong base, the focus has now shifted to Himachal Pradesh. The trend shows that the fight is very tough between BJP and Congress. Though BJP saw some fireworks in the early stages the momentum then shifted to Congress.
As of now, the grand old Congress is leading in 38 seats while the BJP is leading in over 30 seats. This tells how tough the fight is. Moreover, Himachal Pradesh did not see any incumbent government coming to power in the past few decades. The BJP wants to change the trend and come to power.
Either BJP or Congress will come to power. The losing margin will be very less than 10 seats. Looking at the trends, the grand old Congress party is busy taking precautionary measures as it wants to protect the MLAs.
It is known that Bharatiya Janata Party poached a few MLAs in many states and formed a government. Be it Karnataka or Maharashtra or Rajasthan the saffron party did the same and the Congress party faced the heat of it.
Keeping this in mind Congress is making arrangements to shift the MLAs to Rajasthan as a precautionary measure. Moreover, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is overseeing the situation in Himachal Pradesh and they might be shifted to Rajasthan by today evening as per the planning.
Himachal Pradesh has 68 MLA constituencies and 35 is the magic figure to form the government. The grand old Congress party is already leading in more than 36 seats. If the lead converts into a win then Congress can push the Bharatiya Janata Party out of power.
Though Congress is looking good in the current scenario, the party is also worried about the possible threat from the BJP of losing the MLAs, and for this, it wants to shift the MLAs.
