The standoff between the government and the Andhra Pradesh government on the PRC issue continues. The protesting employees stood very firm on their stand in fighting for their demands that they have even skipped meeting with the Ministers Committee on the PRC recommendations issue.

Taking forward the protests as per the protest schedule the employees are raising their voices against the PRC issue. Speaking to the media on the issue the employees have expressed their dissatisfaction with the reduction of fitment for the employees.

The Joint Action Committee(JAC) members were not happy with the fitment issue and said that they have been requesting the government to look into their issues for the last three years. Despite making continuous requests we didnt get a positive response the leaders said.

They have slammed the fitment given to the employees and alleged that the fitment was fixed without consulting them and the fitment announced will not fetch them any benefit. Our suggestions were not taken into consideration while allotting the fitment they said.

Andhra Pradesh Employees JAC leader Bandi Srinivas Rao raised a few objections on the PRC issue and asked on what basis the PRC recommendations were made. We got cheated in fitment and HRA too. We are demanding that the PRC report should be made public as we have a few doubts he said.

He went on to say that the meetings with the government did not yield any positive outcome as the 12 meetings held in the past on the PRC recommendations have not yielded any positive result. Our efforts went in vain. No matter how hard the path is we will fight for our demands he said.

All the Employees Associations are protesting against the PRC recommendations with a common demand that the government orders should be withdrawn with immediate effect and the salaries should be given as per the previous RC recommendations.

Going by the protest schedule of the employees the employees will not take part in their duties as employees from the 5th of next month and the employees will take part in the indefinite strike from the 7th of February.
