Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy had a shock of his life when the found that the crowd, including the BJP workers, who attended his rally in Dubbak left the venue even as he was addressing a rally. He found that empty chairs were greeting him in the election rally.

Kishan Reddy addressed BJP rallies at Bhumpalli Cross Road, Dubbak Padmanayaka function hall, Siddipet, Timmapur and Dubbak rural mandals on Friday. However, At Dubbak, even as he was speaking the BJP workers left the venue in large numbers leaving the chairs empty. The pics of empty chairs greeting Kishan Reddy went viral on the social media. Kishan Reddy was seen addressing a sparsely attended meeting.

Sources say the BJP workers locally are upset over Kishan Reddy's lukewarm attitude to the attack on Raghunandan Rao, the BJP candidate. The police raided the houses of the Raghunandan Rao and his relatives during the election campaign recently. Kishan Reddy was among the last to arrive and console him. He was also criticized for not using his powers as the minister of state for home affairs. There is also anger against him for not calling on state president Bandi Sanjay, who is the party president.
