Etela Back Into KCR's Inner Coterie?

Patience, as they say, always pays. This applies to Health and finance minister Etela Rajendra. Till the other day, he was almost an outcaste within the TRS. He had dared to question the TRS boss over making a leader from his community and his district a minister and positioning him as his competitor. He had also said that the TRS was not the personal property of any one leader and that he too had a share in its growth.
Since then, he was completely isolated. Even MLAs and second and third level politicians were afraid of being seen with him. Such was his position. The situation had come to such a pass that Etela reportedly was presented with the copy of the budget only before the budget speech. There was no involvement whatsoever from him in preparing the budget. But, all that changed once Corona happened. Today, he is back to being blue-eyed boy of KCR. His proactive work in containing Corona virus in Telangana state has impressed KCR and Etela is now said to be back into the good books of KCR.
Etela is one such TRS leader who has never tasted defeat. Yet, there were problems when KCR sidelined him and brought Gangula Kamalakar. Now, it appears Etela has made peace with both Gangula and KCR.
