Finance Department puts a deadline for DDOs for bills!

A tense situation continues to prevail in Andhra Pradesh with the PRC recommendations issue. The employees and teachers have been protesting against the issue demanding that the GOs should be withdrawn and their concerns and demands should be considered by the government.
No matter how hard the employees are trying to fight for their demands, the Andhra Pradesh government said that there is no backstep in their matter and the salaries for the employees will be given as per the recommendations under the new PRC.
Reports say that the Finance Department wants the bills to be processed under the Revised PRC Pay Scales 2022 and the exercise should be finished by today evening.
Having directed the DDOs to finish the given work before the deadline, the Finance Department also issued a warning that if the exercise is not done, then action will be taken against the concerned officials.
The guidelines say that the bills should be processed by today evening so that the salaries of the employees get credited on the 1st of February. The concerned officials are busy doing the work.
The employees had recently said that they will not attend the meeting called by the Minister's committee to address the issue until the demands made by the employees are addressed by the Andhra Pradesh government.
