First Big Step In Streaming Important Sessions in Supreme Court!

The Supreme Court is the top court in the county. Most of the sensitive cases will reach the top country. But no one knows how the case hearing happens in the Apex Court. But things have changed and the Supreme Court started streaming the hearing. Last month, the Supreme Court bench led by former Chief Justice of India NV Ramana streamed the live proceedings.
Taking forward the trend, the hearing of the Constitution bench was live streamed today, by the Supreme Court. The experts call the live stream the first of its kind as the hearing of no Constitution bench was not live streamed so far. There are three benches in the Supreme Court and the benches deal with Constitutional legislation matters.
The live streaming of the Constitution bench led by Justice DY Chandrachud was live streamed and the bench is the second constitutional bench at the Apex Court. The bench is dealing with the petition on the issue of who gets to claim the legacy of mighty Shiv Sena between former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and current Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
The live streaming of the Constitution bench should be seen as a big development in the process of streaming the sessions. T has to be mentioned that, the serving Chief Justice Of India(CJI) Uday Umesh Lalit said that the Supreme Court is focusing on having a dedicated platform for the streaming of sessions. The CJI said, rather than streaming the sessions on YouTube, a platform will be developed.
From today, the Supreme Court will be streaming all the hearings of the Constitution benches. At a recent meeting, the top court took a historic call to stream the sessions. If everything goes well as per the plan, we might soon see the live streaming of hearings of Constitutional benches.
On the historic occasion, we have to remember what former Chief Justice Of India Dipak Misra said on the live streaming of the sessions. He said that lie streaming of important sessions carries a lot of importance. The Ex-CJI said how the Sunlight works as a good disinfectant, the streaming has a crucial role.
