Ex-Member of Parliament, Sivaprasad Naramalli passed away on Saturday. He joined Apollo Hospitals, Chennai for Kidney ailment issue and Nara Chandrababu Naidu visited him on 20th September.

The family of the actor turned politician on Friday said that the death news of him was just a rumour and he was responding to the treatment well.

Doctors bulletin too confirmed the same. But on Saturday, doctors declared officially that in the afternoon hours, the actor and ex-MP passed away.

He was 68 years old and joined film Industry as a stage actor looking for good roles. He was a fan of Legendary actor NTR.

He joined politics and TDP as he was motivated by NTR's call for everyone from Telugu states to unite against then ruling Congress.

He and NCBN became friends as they hailed from same district, Chittoor and the actor completely concentrated on politics as acting chances dried out after establishing some name as a comedian.

He re-entered as an actor in Danger, directed by Krishna Vamsi and continued to perform in several movies. He became popular as an MP, when he started protesting in different getups daily during Parliament sessions outside the house against Government of India's decisions, in case of division of United Andhra Pradesh and then, against BJP Government, for not responding on special status for Andhra Pradesh.

We express deep condolences to his family members and his well-wishers, party workers in this saddest hour of pain and grief.
