American multinational business Magazine Fortune tracks the people across the globe who come from various fields and prepares a list of Influencers every year. The list will be prepared every year. The leading magazine had issued the list of entrepreneurs who had shaped the pandemic experience.

40 under 40 entrepreneurs list for the 2021 edition was announced by Fortune Magazine. Four Indian-Americans have found a slot in the list. The four entrepreneurs belong to different areas.

Let us jump into the introduction and the contribution they made to shape the pandemic experience that helped them to get into the list of Fortune Magazine's 2021 list of 40, under 40.

Raj Kannappan 30-year-old entrepreneur:

Through a firm 'Center for Entrepreneurship & Free Enterprise at Young America's Foundation' Raj promotes free-market principles that are free-market in nature. The principles were promoted among the students of various colleges across the United States.

The firm that has Raj Kannappan as the Vice President and Director promotes these principles by taking speakers to the campuses. The firm also has a history of filing lawsuits against the colleges that are into stopping the speakers from the campuses.


Amit Paley:

The 39-year-old entrepreneur was the person behind 'The Trevor Project' that aims at preventing suicide among the LGBTQ youth. Starting from 1998, the firm has been focusing on supporting Lesbian, gay, and bisexual youth. To bring down the suicide percentage among the particular group, the company focuses on studying mental health.

Akila Raman:

Akila Raman was instrumental in the operations of the American Investment Bank Goldman Sachs. She had come across a long way in her stint with the bank as she has been associated with the bank since 2003. She had worked as an intern with the bank and currently, she is taking care of the international expansion of the bank.

Rohan Seth:

The entrepreneur has a big role to play behind the startup Clubhouse that enables the users to converse with others via group chats. The consumer app became so popular that it had made its way to other countries like India. Since 2020, the platform has been seeing a rise in the user count and even the famous personalities are also using Clubhouse.
