The upcoming Bihar Polls have been hitting the headlines for both the controversies around the free vaccine promise and the way protestors show their anger on the campaigning events.
In one such incident, protestors threw slippers at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, while he was leaving post addressing a campaigning rally in the Sakra area of Muzaffarpur district.
Police personnel who were deployed at the rally spot alerted quickly and swung into action. Four people have been taken into custody for causing a disturbance at the rally, allegedly.
Some media reports claimed that the culprits threw chappals aiming to hit Nitish Kumar's helicopter to show their anger on his visit and they didn't want to throw chappals at CM.
A similar incident took place last week. An unidentified person threw slippers at RJD leader Tejaswi Yadav at a political event in Aurangabad. The slipper that was thrown by the protestor reportedly landed on Tejaswi Yadav's lap.
