GHMC Elections: TSEC Making Arrangements For Covid-19 Patients To Vote

The Telangana State Election Commission (TSEC) has released the election notification for the much anticipated Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections for all the 150 divisions on November 17.
Ever since the notification was released, one doubt which arose in everyone's mind is that will the Covid-19 patients permitted to cast their votes as GHMC is the worst-affected region with Covid-19 in the state.
Now, the TSEC has cleared all the airs and said the Covid-19 patients will also be permitted to cast their votes in the civic body elections. Senior citizens and people with disabilities will also be permitted to exercise their voting rights.
The Telangana State Election Commission said the voters who have tested positive for the novel Coronavirus will be permitted to cast their votes between 5 PM to 6 PM.
All the required facilities like wheel-chairs and ramps have been arranged at the polling booths to see that the elder people and people with disabilities can cast their votes.
