Team India is all set to tour Sri Lanka for a white-ball series that is scheduled to commence in July. India will play three ODIs and three short format games as part of the Sri Lanka tour.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had officially announced the 20-man squad for the forthcoming series. Shikhar Dhawan is all set to lead the team, while Swing King Bhuvneshwar Kumar will serve as Vice-captain.

After an impressive journey in the IPL tournament, Nitish Rana, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Chetan Sakariya, K Gowtham, and Devdutt Padikkal received their maiden call in the international team.

While Shikhar Dhawan will lead the Indian team for the first time, former skipper 'The Wall' Rahul Dravid has been named as the coach for the series.

Indian Squad for Sri Lanka Series: Shikhar Dhawan (capt), Bhuvneshwar Kumar (vice-capt), Prithvi Shaw, Devdutt Padikkal, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Suryakumar Yadav, Manish Pandey, Hardik Pandya, Nitish Rana, Ishan Kishan (wk), Sanju Samson (wk), Yuzvendra Chahal, Rahul Chahar, K Gowtham, Krunal Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, Varun Chakravarthy, Deepak Chahar, Navdeep Saini, Chetan Sakariya.

Ishan Porel, Sandeep Warrier, Arshdeep Singh, R Sai Kishore, Simarjeet Singh have been named net bowlers.

For the first time, the BCCI had fielded two teams for two different series. With the main string of Indian team, including the likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, and others playing the inaugural World Test Championship series and Test Series, the second team will lock horns with Sri Lanka.
