Giving Death Blow to Gujarat Congress, Strong Leader quits!

The grand old Congress party which is on a bring mission to revive the party in various states has pinned high hope on hitting the bulls' eye in Bharatiya Janata Party's strong turf Gujarat. For the same, the Congress leaders have been actively holding meetings to chalk out the apprehensive plan.
Pouring waters on the Congress party's wishes, key Gujarat leader Hardik Patel had quit the party. Announcing the same, Patel shot a big letter to the Congress leadership. In the latter, Hardik Patel shed light on the issues which forced him to take the decision.
This is a big shock to the Congress party. Looking at the caste equations, Hardik Patel was invited to the party back in 2019. As he hails from the Patidar community, which holds a significant population in Gujarat and he actively took part in the OBC movement, Congress opted for him so that the equations will turn for the party.
He was given the Gujarat Congress chief post by the leadership looking at the factors that might help the party in the polls. After working with the party for two years, he decided to not continue with the party and left the party.
Though there is no official information on his future actions, many say that Hardik Patel has been in touch with the saffron party Bharatiya Janata Party and having getting an assurance from the ruling party on a plum post, he took the decision.
As Hardik Patel was expected to give a tough competition to the saffron party in the polls, the tables turned upside down and he left the Congress party. The political experts say that Hardik Patel might join the BJP very soon. If the same happens, then Congress stands no chance to take on BJP.
