Good News to Andhra Pradesh, experts say this Covid variant is not dangerous!

Following the new Covid-19 variant N4440K making its way to Andhra Pradesh, people started to fear the Coronavirus situations in the state considering the new variant might be more dangerous.
As a piece of good news to Andhra Pradesh, the department of biotechnology of the ministry of science and technology said, the N4440K lineage is not so dangerous and lethal compared to other variants.
Adding further, Renu Swarup, secretary, department of biotechnology of the ministry of science and technology said, the new variant was detected while examining the Genetic evolutionary sequence.
Mr. Swarup said people need not panic about the N440K variant of the novel Coronavirus saying that the virus started fading out slowly and the new variant doesn’t have any clinical impact.
Adding further, Swarup went on to say that the B.1.617 version, which is also called as “double mutant," is more dangerous compared to the N440K variant of the novel Coronavirus.
Renu Swarup urged the public to follow the precautionary measures to be safe from the virus spread given the Covid second wave spread.
