Sundar Pichai is a name that needs no introduction. He is the serving Chief Executive Officer of Google. He is among the few Indian-origin executives who are leading global tech giants. Sundar Pichai was born and brought up in India and went to the US for higher studies. Later he ended up getting a post there.
His roots are from Chennai and his ancestral home was reportedly sold. An actor-producer who is also into real estate bought the house as per the reports. The house is located in the Ashok Nagar region in Chennai, the capital city of Tamil Nadu.
As per the media reports, Manikandan bought the house. When he got to know that the ancestral home of Sundar Pichai came for sale he decided to not let the opportunity let go. He even said that it is a proud moment to get the house of a person of Sundar Piachai's stature.
More than the news of the house sale, the grounded nature of Sundar Pichai's parents floored him. Recalling the meeting with Sundar Pichai's parents, the actor said that Sundar's mother offered him her handmade coffee and his father handed over the required documents for registration.
Adding further, Manikandan reportedly said that Sundar Pichai's father had an emotional reaction when the house was sold and he broke down. Giving a reason for this, the actor said that this is the first property of Sundar Pichai's father and this made him have tears in his eyes.
