Government wants employees to spend time with families!

The government employees often have a tight schedule and they barely get time to spend quality time with their parents and family members. As a festival gift to the employees, the government came up with a piece of good news for the employees who work for the government.
The government said that on January 6th and 7th, the government employees and officials were given leave. Not just the two days, the employees can also take casual holidays on the 8th and 9th of this month. This makes the government employees have a percent weekend.
However, the surprise decision was taken not in Andhra Pradesh or Telangana but in northeastern Indian state Assam. The Chief Minister of the state Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma announced the piece of happy news to the employees while addressing a press briefing.
The Chief Minister said the decision was taken to create space for the employees and officials to spend some quality time and enjoy the long weekend with the family members.
However, the government had put a condition to the employees to enjoy the benefits of the extended long weekend. The condition for the state government employees is that they have to spend time with the family members or the in-laws and the proof for the same like pictures and videos should be submitted to their higher officials.
Not just this, a dedicated portal will be thrown open for the employees and officials so that they can upload the pictures with the family members. The website is expected to be opened very soon.
In the meantime, the employees who want to take the leave should have to show the proof to the officials and then the leave they have taken will be considered.
The government is dubbing the special offer as a New Year gift to the employees, public representatives, and the service officials which enables them to plan a long weekend. Everyone is lauding the government for thinking about the employees and giving space for them to spend time with family. The government should be appreciated for bringing such a scheme which is employee beneficial.
