Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan's hyper activism is making the TRS government's ministers run for the cover. The Governor has indicated that she would review the functioning of various departments and has called for a review of the health and medical department especially in view of the rampant viral fevers in the state. She had already asked her secretariat to furnish details of deaths caused by viral fevers, malaria and dengue. In view of this, all other ministers are now busy preparing notes and gathering information about their respective departments.
It is being reported that Home Minister Mohamood Ali has asked his officials to update him on the affairs of the department in the expectation that the Governor might ask him for details. The governor is also said to be concerned about the deaths of students of intermediate courses. Tamilisai has already indicated that she would not like to remain ceremonial governor confined to the Raj Bhavan. The Governor is expected to send these details to the Central Government for necessary feedback and action.
