Governor Wants Medical Students to marry early like her!

Indian society feels that marriage should be done only after getting an education as it makes people mature. Marriage gets delayed for people who pursue respected professions like doctors as the students and parents feel that they might get deviated from their studies if married.

A big personality busted that popular myth and said that studies have nothing to do with marriage and while pursuing studies also students can get married. None other than Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan said this and advised the medicos to tie the knot without waiting for completion of their doctor's degree.

The Governor cited her own example and said that when she was studying in her first year of MBBS, she tied the knot and marriage didn't become an obstacle for her, and she scored good marks and got a doctor’s degree.

Tamilisai Soundararajan was in Bibinagar earlier today to inaugurate a new facility at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences. After the ceremony, she addressed the doctors and said that her advice for them is to get married when they attain the age of marriage as waiting for long impacts their health.

Unlike other professions, the doctor's profession is not just a job. It is also a service for society and other beings. It is a divine profession. As it is a tough course, a few students develop mental stress and issues unable to cope with it.

The Governor is a doctor by herself and she knows what it takes to be a doctor. Based on the experience she had while marrying in the middle of the course, she is endorsing the same.
