Ever since the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) led by Narendra Modi came to the power for the second term, the government has been increasing the Diesel and Petrol prices for which the government is receiving a backlash from the public.
Several leaders and bodies have expressed their dissatisfaction over the hike in the fuel prices. One more leader joined the club to slam the government for the fuel prices.
Congress Leader and Treasurer of Telangana Pradesh Congress committee Gudur Narayana Reddy took a dig at the government in a satirical way. In his Tweet, he took potshots at the government.
He tweeted a petrol bill issued by a Petrol Bunk in the financial capital Mumbai. In the bill, it's written that, if you want to reduce petrol price, don't vote for Modi again.
Though it's a bill issued in 2018, it is still relevant as the fuel prices in the metro cities are soaring making it hard for the middle class to purchase. Even after the pandemic outbreak, the petrol hike didn't stop.
