Gyanvapi Mosque: Big Step in Addressing Temple-Masjid Row!

Taking a cue from the Ayodhya verdict, the Hindu groups, and Right-wing groups are fighting for the other similar disputed monuments like the Gyanvapi mosque. After a lot of fight and struggles, the Court granted the permission for the committee to survey the Gyanvapi-Gauri Shringar complex.

With the Allahabad Court giving its green signal for the committee to survey the complex and film the survey process, the committee consisting of as many as 52 members had entered the disputed complex and completed its survey. The underground cellars were surveyed.

Given the survey process, the cops were deployed in big numbers to see that no unwanted incidents take place. As part of the precautionary measure, all the roads that lead to the Kashi Vishwanath temple and Gyanvapi Masjid have been closed by the cops and no one is being allowed to take the route.

Respecting the court orders, the mosque organizers did not raise any objections and let the survey teams do their job. The locks of the rooms belonging to the Muslims were opened and with the Hindu room having no lock it became easy for the team to survey with video proof.

Hearing a petition, the other day the Allahabad High Court said that the survey should not be stopped and even made it clear that those who try to object to the survey will have to face an FIR for creating obstacles to the officials from doing their job.

With many Hindus and Hindu groups strongly believe that the Gyanvapi Masjid was built by demolishing a part of the holy Kashi Vishwanath temple in 1669, they are confident that they can get the Ayodhya like verdict which will be in their favor.

On the other hand, Muslims and Muslim groups are also confident that the survey will put an end to the Temple-Masjid issue and they will be given a favorable judgment. They are hoping that Ayodhya's judgment might not get repeated.

It is also said that, if the Kashi temple issue gets addressed, the focus should be taken to the Madhura temple. With the holy Shrine of Lord Sri Krishna Mathura sharing the disputed land like Kashi, we might hear news about the Mathura issue in the coming days.
