Lifting an International Cricket Council(ICC) trophy makes a player special. But it makes the player very special and keeps the player away from the rest of the players and captains if he wins not two but three ICC trophies. He is the former skipper of the Indian team Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He is celebrating his 40th birthday today.

Dhoni, popularly known as captain cool has lifted three trophies the inaugural T20 trophy in 2007 and the 50-over World Cup and the ICC Champions Trophy in 2011 and 2013 respectively.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who was named the skipper for the T20 format for the T20 World Cup took his team towards the victory by defeating arch-rival Pakistan on the last ball. When the entire stadium was on its feet for the final over, Dhoni had opted for newcomer Joginder Sharma instead of senior bowler Harbhajan Singh.
