High Court Judge Voices Popular Opinion On Capital-less AP!

The people of Andhra Pradesh are in an unwanted situation where they cannot tell what is their capital city. When the state was bifurcated, Amaravati was promoted. However, there is no constant capital city for the state with the current government proposing three capitals for the decentralisation of development. No one knows when the issues related to the Three Capitals Bill will be cleared and we will get capital.
Now the Judge of the Andhra Pradesh High Court gave a voice to the concerns of Andhra Pradesh. Addressing the gathering at a book launch event, the Judge reportedly said the Andhra community is not in a good position.
As per the media reports, Justice Battu Devanand graced a book launch event and during his address, he reportedly mentioned how his children are facing jokes of not having capital from friends.
Most of the people in the state have the same feeling that they have no steady capital. The Justice placing his take brought everyone’s attention. Observers say that the Justice voiced the opinion of many on the capital issue.
The farmers in Amaravati who gave their lands are fighting to see that the capital comes to the region. The High Court also said the capital should come to Amaravati. But the state government has other plans and it wants to have three capitals.
