Huzurabad bypoll dashes TRS leaders' hopes

All those ministerial post-seekers and those who wanted nominated posts may have to wait for a few more months. The much awaited cabinet reshuffle and the distribution of nominated posts will happen only after Huzurabad bypolls. KCR has asked all the party leaders to focus on the all-important Huzurabad and ensure a TRS victory.
Several TRS leaders were hoping that KCR would take up the cabinet expansion and include new faces. Similarly, many nominated posts too are waiting to be filled. These leaders, who were intensely lobbying for the posts felt that since there are no elections in the near future, KCR would take up the rejig in the right earnest. However, their hopes were dashed when Eatala resigned from the legislative assembly. A bypoll is now inevitable and KCR is reported to have told the party leaders to focus on the bypolls first.
For the TRS, winning Huzurabad is very important because if rebel leader Eatala Rajender wins, it would have a demoralising effect on the party. More and more dissidents will raise their voices and KCR's supremacy would be challenged. So, the party has to win Huzurabad and nip the rebellion in the bud.
