For a week some reports have been claiming that a strict lockout might be imposed in Telanagana as the fresh cases in the state are increasing rapidly. Hyderabad turned out as the hotspot for the virus.

Though there is no clarification from the government in this regard, there reports left the public in a state of panic. As a result, the public started stocking up groceries and liquor fearing that the lockout might be imposed anytime.

In addition to that, people started to leave Hyderabad also. Following which Vijayawada highway witnessed heavy traffic and the RTC buses will fille with passengers

If the reports of some media channels are to be believed in the past seven days as many as 30 lakh people have left from Hyderabad with an intention to not return until the situation gets under control.

Some factors like huge pay cut in salaries and unable to pay the rents in the city forced the public to leave Hyderabad reportedly. Some companies imposed a cut of 50-75% in salaries with ongoing situations.

On top of this, there is no assurance of help from the government towards the poor and middle-class people.
