IAS Officer Shares His CBSE Results And Pens Inspiring Message

A day after the CBSE released the Class 12 results, an IAS officer, Nitin Sangwan has sent out a message that those who have not secured great marks can also achieve a lot in their lives.

Nitin Sangwan, despite scoring fewer marks, only 24 in Chemistry, managed to enter the civil services - billed as one of the toughest exams in the county.

"In my 12th exams, I got 24 marks in Chemistry - just 1 mark above passing marks. But that didn't decide what I wanted from my life. Don't bog down kids with burden of marks. Life is much more than board results. Let results be an opportunity for introspection and not for criticism," he tweeted along with his mark sheet.

Nitin Sangwan had cleared the civil services exam in 2015. Before this, he was an Indian Revenue Services (IRS). He is currently posted as the Deputy Municipal Commissioner and CEO of Smart City, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
