The IT Department is creating a sensation in Telangana yet again. The IT officials who created a sensation by raiding the houses of BRS Ministers two months back had now targeted an MLC of the same party. The raids are going on at the companies that belong to Venkata Rami Reddy who became an MLC after serving as a Collector for a very long time. Congress Chief Revanth Reddy earlier alleged that Venkata Rami Reddy was given the MLC post as he worked in favour of the government.

Earlier reports said that he started a Real Estate business on his family members' name when he was with the government. It is said that the companies did not file the IT return files in the past five years and the IT officials are conducting raids.

The IT raids are going on on the allegations that the Rajapushpa LifeStyle City companies missed the taxes. It is said that the IT department officials were divided into five teams and carried out raids at multiple locations at a time including Venakata Rami Reddy's house. Security personnel were also present at the raid locations. Vasudhaiva Pharma, raj Pusha Vertex companies faced the raids, and Audit details were sought. Files of five years are being examined.

Media reports said that Raj Pushpa company was set up in the name of Venkata Rami Reddy's family members when he was serving as the Collector of the Siddipet district. It has been widely reported that the Raj Pushpa company got the lands that were sold by the government by giving big amounts.

It is said that the company got lands on Kokapet, Narsingi, and other places. On the flip side, the IT raids conducted IT raids in the premises of Vasudha Pharma premises. The profits of Pharma companies are said to have been invested in Real Estate. But Income Tax has not been filed allegedly.

The IT officials gathered key details of the concerned companies. Hard Disks and other files have been seized. People who are linked with the companies are being questioned. When many thought that the IT department slowed down a bit, the agency took everyone by surprise by conducting raids on the companies that belong to Venkata Rami Reddy.
