Australian batsman Steve Smith has made it to the top spot in the latest ICC Men's Test Player Rankings with 891 rating points.Smith overtook blackcaps skipper Kane Williamson to reclaim his top spot.

Kane Williamson stood at second spot with 886 points, after missing the second test with the mighty England owning to an injury. In the first test, he had managed to score 13 runs.

Australia's Marnus Labuschagne remained at the third position in the ICC rankings while Run Machine Virat Kohli improved his rankings to fourth position from fifth.

English player Joe Root, who leads England team in the longer format of the team stood at fifth position. Indian opener Rohit Sharma and young gun Rishabh Pant jointly share the sixth slot.


Looking at the bowling department, Australian speedster Pat Cummins is at the top position with 908 points, followed by Indian ace spinner Ravichandran Ashwin with 850 points. Ashwin is the only Indian in the elite list.


West Indian player Jason Holder held on to the top position in the all-rounder performance with 412 points. Sir Ravindra Jadeja and Ashwin reached second and fourth position in the list with 386 and 353 points respectively.
