Imran Khan Comments On Navjot Sidhu Sparks Controversy

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan made some sensational comments on former cricketer, Congress MLA Navjot Singh Sidhu. In a video, Imran can be seen saying "Hamara sidhu." This video created a stir on Social Media. He made these comments at the opening ceremony of the Kartarpur corridor.
The Kartarpur corridor in the Punjab province was inaugurated on the occasion of 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev."Achcha hamaara woh Sidhu kidhar hai? Main keh raha hoon hamaara Sidhu," said Imran words. Sidhu responded to this as,"Sikandar (Alexander) had won the world with fear and you won the heart all over the world". The video did not go well with Netizens and BJP leaders.
Former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh led the first delegation of Sikh pilgrims through the Kartarpur corridor while they entered Pakistan. Imran insulted former Prime Minister Manmohan by saying "Woh Manmohan aaya kya?".
Though Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh was also invited to the holy event, Sidhu was highlighted by Imran. Netizens are not happy for showing disrespect towards former Prime Minister and Punjab CM. Imran faced lot of criticism for using this holy event for his political benefits and many of them termed it as an insult to Sikhs.
