We have seen how Indian fans had heartbreak with the team getting knocked out of the T20 World Cup semis.
It's been quite a long time since the team lifted an ICC trophy. The golden era of the Indian Cricket Team started in 2007 after winning the maiden T20 World Cup trophy. After the sad 2007 50-over World Cup tournament, team India bounced back and lifted the trophy.
The tournament was a game-changer and started the era of Mahendra Singh Dhoni as the skipper. Making the win a special one, a web series is in planning on the T20 World Cup season. The Web series will be a multilanguage one and the major part of the shoot is finished.
"WEB SERIES ON 2007 T20 CRICKET WORLD CUP… A multi-language documentary web series on 2007 T20 Cricket World Cup - not titled yet - is officially announced… Featuring 15 #Indian cricketers, it is set to release in 2023… Over two-thirds of the shoot is complete," Taran Adarsh tweeted.
Taran Adarsh also said that UK-based producers are the producers and An A-list actor will be associated with the project. The 2007 World Cup Tournament is special for the Indian cricket team and fans due to various reasons. Mahendra Singh Dhoni showed his leadership skills in the tournament and lifted the trophy.
Now cricket fans will have another opportunity to revisit the World Cup winning moments. Though cricket fans are eagerly waiting for the web series to get released the details of the web series like the main cast are yet to be announced. The makers might release the details.
