India will start its campaign in the 2021 T 20 World Cup by locking horns with arch-rivals Pakistan. Ahead of the match, the performance of the Indian seamers was not up to the mark. In the warm-up match, the key bowlers Bumrah and Shami were not impressive. All-rounder Hardik Pandya did not bowl in the warm-up match.

Talking about the same, former Indian bowler Ajit Agarkar gave his opinion on the changes India should make. He opined that in the place of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, India should play Shardul Thakur if Hardik Pandya won’t bowl. He gave the suggestion while speaking to the Star Sports channel.

Agarkar had highlighted how Hardik Pandya will be a big factor for India and also mentioned the loss the team will face if he won’t bowl. Three seamers' bowling is very crucial in the big tournament. With Hardik Pandya not bowling, India should think about playing Shardyuk Thakur in the place of Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, he said.

Agarkar said, in the six bowler attack in the match, he would pick Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Shardul Thakur, Ravindra Jadeja, Varun Chakravarthy, and Rahul Chahar. He showered praises on Ravindra Jadeja and said he will see the all-rounder as a proper batsman.

India and Pakistan will face each other on the 24th of this match and Dubai will host the high-intense match. Indians fans are eagerly waiting to see India crush Pakistan keeping the record of 11 percent winning rate against Pakistan in the World Cup matches.
