Indian-American Aiming American Presidents Post..!

The politics are seeing big twits though the Presidential elections in America are one year away. Former President Donald Trump earlier announced that he will run the polls from the Republican Party. But it is said that he is not getting full support from the Republican Party.

While a group is said to be supporting Donald Trump completely, a group is said to be opposing the former President of the United States. So a name is doing rounds as a possible alternative candidate from the Republican party. Last month, former Governor Nikki Haley hinted that she might run the Presidential polls. Now she gave a big twist to Donald Trump by announcing that she would run in the next polls.

She had a big growth in the Republican party slowly in a phased manner and emerged as a women leader. During Donald Trump's stint as the President, she served as the US ambassador to the United Nations from 2017 to 2018. She earned an image of Business Friendly Leader during her stint as South Carolina Governor for two terms.

Nikki Haley was successful in inviting major companies to South Carolina state. Her response to the mass shooting by a supremacist at the Emanuel AME Church in Charleston in 2015 earned nationwide praise. On the flip side, she emerged as a female leader in the Republican Party.

Earlier Indian-American Nikki Haley said that she will not contest the elections if Donald Trump announces his candidacy. But it appears that she changed her mind. She said that two things should be considered while contesting the Presidential elections of the United States.

Should we need new leadership in current situations? is the first thing and the second one is Am I the new leader are the two things. She said that she decided to not give Joe Biden a second chance and that America needs new leadership.

So there is a chance of Nikki Haley trying her luck in Presidential polls along with Donald Trump. Earlier Indian-origin people tried to make it to the President's post and failed to do so. Current Vice-President of America Kamala Hariss pulled out of the presidential race at the neck of the moment.

It has become interesting to know at least an Indian-American can achieve the presidential post this time. Nikki Haley announced that she will start the campaign on the behalf of the Republican party on the 15th of this month from Charleston, South Carolina. Nikki's parents are Ajit Singh Randhawa and Raj Kaur Randhawa. Ajit Singh used to work as a Professor at the Punjab Agriculture University and he migrated to Canada with her family in 1960. From there they went to America and settled there.
