The Western nations are into celebrations on the weekends. When it comes to the festival weekend the celebrations reach the rooftop. The festive month in western nations like the United States, the United Kingdom, and others is fast approaching. December is the festival month for western nations.

The land of opportunities, the United States recently celebrated the big festival of Thanksgiving Day which is an annual national holiday. But the festival brought irreplaceable pain to a Telugu Family as a woman breathed her last in a deadly road accident.

Going into details Telugu couple-wife Sreeja and her husband were traveling in their car on Thanksgiving day at midnight. Sadly their vehicle collided with another car leaving Sreeja dead. Before she was taken to the hospital she passed away. Her husband was also taken to hospital. Though the treatment is going on it is said that the recovery process is not that great.

The accident will haunt the family forever as they lost Sreeja on the Thanksgiving day festival while her husband is still under treatment. Sreeja's mortal remains are likely to be shifted to her hometown for the last rites and ceremony.

The road accident raised many eyeballs as others were also involved in this. Sreeja's vehicle collided with the other car and two others traveling in the other car sustained injuries. They were rushed to the hospital for treatment. However, people in the other car sustained just minor injuries.

As per the media reports, the two cars collided with each other on Altamont Pass and Northfront roads on Thanksgiving day around 12.45 pm. The two cars were identified as a blue Honda Civic Sedan and Toyota Prius. While trying to cross the lines the two cars collided with each other leading to a disaster.

Though the exact reason behind this is yet to be found, a few reports say that drivers consuming alcohol might be a reason. People drink more than they drink casually on festivals like Thanksgiving day and others. Moreover, the visibility while driving a vehicle would drop at midnight due to fog. This might also be a reason behind this. However, the concerned authorities are yet to confirm it.
