Globarena Technologies, which provided technical assistance to Board of Intermediate Education (BIE), was under scanner for mistakes in the Telangana Intermediate Board Results. Telangana Government decided to end the contract with Globarena Technologies. New Tenders have been issued to invite bidders for offering the contract of technical assistance to the Inter Board.
Opposition Parties launched a campaign against TRS Government linking KTR with Globarena Technologies. They alleged no action was taken against the Private Firm inspite of unpardonable errors due to the secret understanding. TRS Government ended the contract with Globarena Technologies as part of the damage control measures.
Telangana State Technology Services (TSTS) issued tenders through eProcurement System to offer the technical assistance contract to another company. Globarena Technologies wasn't allowed to take part in the bidding with conditions such as experience of procession 10 students data and firm should play no role in Telangana Inter Board in the past 2 years. The new firm will be issued the contract of processing Advance Supplementary results as well. Around 3.5 lakh students will be appearing for Advance Supplementary Exams happening from May 25th.
