International Shooter Vartika Singh wrote a letter in blood to Union Home Minister Amit Shah urging that all four men convicts of Nirbhaya gang-rape case must be hanged by her. 'Allow Me to hang the four convicts. A message can be sent to the whole country that a woman can execute their death sentence. Hopefully change might happen in the society after such a development. Want the Female Actors and MPs to extend support to Me,' she wrote.
A Paramedical Student was gangraped in a moving bus on December 16th, 2012. While one of the six accused committed suicide in Tihar Jail, One among them was released after 3 years sentence for being a minor. The Supreme Court will hear a review petition filed by one of the four convicts on Tuesday.
Delhi High Court awarded capital punishment to four convicts (Akshay, Pawan, Mukesh, Vinay) in September 2013. Still, The verdict wasn't implemented till date due to repeated appeals by the convicts. Frustration continues to grow among public over the delay in punishing the killers.
