As a dangerous trend, the supporters of political parties are leaders are abusing judges and the judiciary on social media. The issue was taken to the notice of the Andhra Pradesh High Court and the central agency Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) was handed over the case investigation. A few arrests have been made already.

However, the key accused Punch Prabhakar, who stays abroad is escaping the arrest. It is a lengthy process to seek permission from Interpol to arrest Punch Prabhakar, this is working well for him. The High Court has been asking the investigation officers to list out the efforts they are making to arrest him.

Knowing that arresting him from abroad is not going to be that easy, Punch Prabhakar is regularly posting videos on YouTube against the judiciary and he is even putting dare before the authorities to arrest him if they can.

However, there is a strong belief that Punch Prabhakar is a strong supporter of the ruling YSRCP and the ruling party reportedly backs him. For the same reason, the Andhra Pradesh government is maintaining a balanced stance on the much-talked-about issue. So far, no YSRCP leader had condemned what Prabahkara said and demanded his arrest.

Adding fuel to this opinion, Punch Prabhakar was spotted with YSRCP MP Mithun Reddy. The MP can be seen happily posing with Punch Prabhakar as if he knows him for a long time. The pictures of the duo are now doing rounds on social media.

On the other hand, probably for the first time in the country, a government waged a war against the judiciary. Earlier, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had written to the Supreme Court Collegium to not make NV Ramana the Chief Justice of India as he has vested interests.

In the letter which was made public, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy reportedly said that NV Ramana might favour the Kamma community in the cases as he hails from the same community. With Punch Prabhakar spotted at Davos where the Andhra Pradesh delegation is also present, the alleged support of YSRCP to him got highlighted.
