Is Telangana minister Puvvada Ajay planning carefully to push key leaders like Tummala Nageshwara Rao and others to the background and take complete control of Khammam? If sources are to be believed, this cool operator is now making moves to have his wife as the mayor of Khammam.
Sources in the know say that he has influenced the TRS top leadership to increase the number of corporators from 50 to 60. Due to this, there was fresh delimitation of the divisions. As a result, most TRS leaders found that the areas where they have built the organisation and invested money, are now in other divisions. As a result, they are in a state of confusion. Ajay has already decided candidates for over 40 seats and most of them are his supporters. So, if the TRS wins, a majority of the corporators would be his hand-picked persons. Thus, he would have complete control over the Khammam Municipal Corporation.
If sources are to be believed, he is planning to bring his wife Puvvada Vasantha Lakshmi as Mayor of the city. Though a novice in politics, Vasantha Lakshmi will be made the mayor. This will give Puvvada Ajay complete control of the city. He is the MLA and minister from Khammam and his wife would be the mayor. Ajay is pretty confident that Vasanthalakshmi would have a cakewalk in the upcoming elections.
