Is TDP's most visible female face Sadineni Yamini, trying to join the BJP? The indications are yes. Yamini, whose telegenic presence helped grab eyeballs for the TDP, was regularly holding forth for the TDP in the runup to the 2019 elections. Her social media presence too created quite a flutter. She was trolled several times for her comments against political rivals.
But, of late, Yamini has not been active on the social media. Her tweets have become increasingly sparser. She has also not attended party meetings for quite some time. She was not seen in any party programme also. All these gave rise to the rumours that she was planning to leave the TDP. Lending credence to these rumours, Yamini recently met AP BJP president Kanna Lakshminarayana along with some of her supporters.
Sources close to her say that she is planning to join the BJP soon. So, will she lend her voice and presence to the BJP from now?
