Is Somu Veerraju A BJP Leader Or Pawan Kalyan Fan?

Is Somu Veerraju president of the Andhra Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party or a leader of the Pawan Kalyan fans association? On Wednesday when Pawan Kalyanâs 49th birthday celebrations were organised across the state, Somu Veerraju was the most active person.
He has addressed more Pawan Kalan birthday celebrations than any leader in Andhra Pradesh. He addressed meetings in Kakinada, Karapa, Rajahmundry, Amalapuram and other places. All these programmes were organised either by the Kapu community or by the Pawan Kalyan fanâs association. In all these meetings, Somu praised Pawan to skies and termed him a visionary leader.
This led many to remark that Somu Veerraju is behaving more like a Pawan Kalyan fan rather than the president of a national party in power at the Centre. Also, his open and brazen association with one particular social group is creating confusion in the minds of the people, especially the supporters of the BJP. Many are questioning the rationale of his attending Pawan Kalyan birthday bashes.
