Inspired leaks from the TDP say that the party is engaged in talks with the Jana Sena over the nitty gritty of the political alliance for 2024. The reports say that internal talks are on between both the parties and that both the parties are deeply interested in forging an alliance.

Meanwhile there are leaks about the seat-sharing also. Sources also claimed that the Tenali seat in Guntur district would be given to the Jana Sena. In all probability, the Jana Sena will field senior leader and former speaker Nadendla Manohar as the party candidate from Tenali in 2024.

Meanwhile, these leaks have caused confusion in the TDP, where senior leaders and constituency incharges are worried that their seats would be given over to the Jana Sena. Jana Sena could get Vijayawada West, Kaikaluru and Bhimavaram too. So, the TDP is said to have not given any assurance to TDP seniors like Alapati Raja. Sources say Raja would be given an alternative seat or an MP ticket to contest and Tenali could go to Nadendla Manohar.

Sources also say that Alapati Raja would be asked to contest from Guntur West. Meanwhile, the TDP lost the Tenali seat due to the Jana Sena, which polled close to 30000 votes. Nadendla's strong performance in the 2019 elections is the main reason for the TDP defeat. To avoid splitting of votes, the TDP wants to give this seat to Nadendla Manohar, sources say. Interestingly, nothing is official in all this.
