Is This Chandrababu's Game-Plan?

These days, TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu is giving an impression that he is inching closer to the BJP. He is sending out feelers that he might soon form a coalition with both the Jana Sena and the BJP for 2024. But, there is a strong section of political watchers who feel that this is a devious ploy of Chandrababu to leave both the YSRCP as well as his own party men completely confused.
He wants to prevent the party leaders from leaving the party. By giving an impression that he is all set to align with the BJP, he is trying to corner those who want to join the BJP. "What is the point in joining the BJP when the BJP and the TDP are coming together, is his question to those who want to leave the TDP. He wants to ensure that people like CM Ramesh come back to the party using the same logic. All these will breathe new life into the moribund TDP.
So, he is enacting a drama of inching closer to the BJP. Interestingly, there is no feeler whatsoever from the BJP side on this issue. It is only coming from the yellow channels. So, one can easily understand the game-plan.
