Jagans 4-Pronged Strategy Unnerving Chandrababu
X
Chandrababu may claim himself to be a veteran several battles. He may claim himself to be a Telugu Macheavelli. But, he is finding himself to be ineffective when it comes to tackling the onslaught of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Jagan's attack on Chandrababu is four-pronged.

Firstly, Jagan is encouraging TDP rebels to leave the party or cooperate openly with the YSRCP. With several MLAs like Vallabhaneni Vamsi and Karanam Balaram already in his kitty, Jagan is psychologically hitting Chandrababu. He is also forcing other important leaders using the cases against them. For instance, former minister Sidda Raghava Rao's interests in granite industry have forced him to join the YSRCP. Secondly, fix Chandrababu loyalists in various cases. Loyalists like Atchen Naidu are now in remand. Many more could follow. This again will either make the leaders leave the TDP or become inactive. Already former minister Narayana is on the backfoot to protect his schools.Thirdly, a psychological warfare about there being no leader of stature in the party is being conducted. Lokesh is being portrayed as an ineffectual leader. The fourth and important strategy is to cut of the support to the TDP at the ground level. At the ground level, a lot of TDP workers are being forced to join the YSRCP.

The strategy seems to be paying rich dividends to YS Jagan these days. The TDP is in complete self-defence mode and is on the backfoot. The TDP does not seem to have any strategy to counter the ruling YSRCP.
